| Project Description: | The docudrama, Fountains of Columbia, is a story, depictionof the life in the Sierra Nevada foothills during the gold Rush of the mid 1800's. The story of the town of Columbia is told from the view point of an eleven-year-old girl, Mary Leary. The focus of the story is the importance of water to the town's survival, gold mining, food production and municipal uses like fire protection. |
